Sundance Square is the center of Downtown Fort Worth. A beautiful, art deco Western feel in the middle of the city. Shops, dining, and live entertainment abound in this area.
The Kimbell houses an eclectic collection of art from around the globe including Michelangelo's first known painting.
The scene of our "accidental" second date, make sure to get a selfie with the angels and then walk a couple of blocks over to where we had our first date, and another of our favorite restaurants, Del Frisco's Grille.
An open-air upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment area. One of our favorite restaurants, Rise Soufflé, is located here.
A lovely stretch of local shops and dining. We especially enjoy Brewed, Salsa Limon, and the pet-friendly patio at Shaw’s (no relation).
Get a real feel of "Where the West Begins" in the extensive Stockyards area. Catch live music and live bull riding at Billy Bob's, watch The Fort Worth Heard of longhorns make one of their twice-daily drives down Exchange, and find just the right souvenir in one of many shops.
One of our favorite places in the city, the Fort Worth Zoo is among the top 3 zoos in the United States. Recently renovated areas allow up-close interactions with a variety of exotic wildlife.
One of Joshua's long-time favorite restaurants, this one is worth the drive over to Arlington. Featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, don't let the facade fool you and don't skip the honey cake!
Historic buildings now housing local shops, family-friendly outdoor spaces and the world-famous Babe's Chicken Dinner House. We also love The Rim's bread pudding.
